The Jaegerists are a radical military and political faction that emerged on Paradis Island following the Liberio raid and Eren Yeager's unilateral declaration of war against Marley. Formed primarily from former Survey Corps soldiers and disillusioned Garrison members, they pledged absolute loyalty to Eren and his vision of securing Paradis's survival through overwhelming force. The faction rapidly grew from a small group of devoted followers into a powerful military organization that successfully staged a coup, taking control of Paradis Island's government and military infrastructure. Their ideology centered on the belief that Eren possessed the only viable solution to the existential threat posed by Marley and the rest of the world: the complete destruction of all enemies through the power of the Founding Titan.
The Jaegerists functioned as both a political movement and a paramilitary force, systematically eliminating or imprisoning anyone who opposed Eren's plan for the Rumbling. They seized control of government buildings, military arsenals, and communication networks across Paradis, appointing loyal members to key positions throughout the military hierarchy. Under Floch Forster's leadership, they executed dissenters and purged officials who showed sympathy toward the Survey Corps veterans' efforts to stop Eren. They also oversaw the construction of a massive fleet and coastal defenses to protect Paradis from Marleyan retaliation during the Rumbling's execution. In the final stages of the series, remaining Jaegerists on Paradis engaged the Alliance in a desperate naval battle, using the last surviving Titan shifters and heavy artillery to prevent anyone from reaching Eren.
Floch Forster was the de facto leader and most zealous advocate of the Jaegerist movement, having survived Erwin Smith's suicidal charge as the sole survivor of that desperate assault. His near-death experience radicalized him into believing that only ruthless sacrifice could secure Paradis's future, leading him to become Eren's most devoted follower. Other notable members included Louise, a former Survey Corps trainee who idolized Mikasa and later served as a Jaegerist officer tasked with monitoring dissenters, and Yelena, the mysterious Volodi diplomat who initially orchestrated the alliance between Paradis and the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers before the Jaegerists absorbed her network into their operations.
