The Attack Titan is one of the Nine Titans, standing at 15 meters tall with a muscular, human-like build. It has always fought for freedom throughout history, never once being controlled by the Founding Titan's power. This Titan possesses the unique ability to see into the memories of its future inheritors through the Paths, allowing past holders to influence events across time. Eren Yeager ultimately used the Attack Titan's power in conjunction with the Founding Titan to trigger the Rumbling and destroy most of humanity outside Paradis.
The Attack Titan has long, pointed ears that curl backward, giving it a sharp and aggressive silhouette. Its face features a pronounced jawline with exposed teeth and a determined, almost furious expression during combat. The body is extremely muscular and lean with no skin covering the muscle tissue, typical of most shifters. Greenish-gray eyes glow with intensity, and its hair varies by the user — Eren's form has dark, medium-length hair swept back from the face.
The Attack Titan's signature ability is seeing future memories of its successors, allowing information to travel backward through time via the Paths network. In combat it is a powerful hand-to-hand fighter with incredible speed, strength, and endurance, capable of taking on multiple Titans simultaneously. It can harden its skin to create defensive armor and form weapons like blades for close-quarters battle. Eren developed the ability to create a full skeletal structure to fight while regenerating his body. The Attack Titan can also harden its fists into diamond-like formations to deliver devastating punches with immense destructive force.
Eren Kruger was the first known holder in modern times, passing it to Grisha Yeager on Paradis island. Grisha used it to reclaim the Founding Titan from the Reiss family before giving both Titans to his son Eren. Eren Yeager was the final holder, using the combined power of the Attack and Founding Titans to initiate the Rumbling and ultimately end the Titan curse forever.
